Though convenient and snazzy, they tend to be of low brightness and relatively expensive for their performance. Because most of them can accommodate videos and photos for on-the-go entertainment (in addition to slides and charts for business or classroom presentations), these models can be thought of as multimedia display systems. Niceties such as a reliable auto-focus make it as easy to set up as a TV. Like its predecessor, the ViewSonic X10-4K, and the LG Cinebeam HU70LA, this convenient device offers HDR10 support, a solid-state light source, and a fairly light weight-though at 9 pounds, it's more luggable than portable. Speaking of Android, the Apollo has that operating system built in, bringing the universe of Android apps to your projector screen. You can control the Apollo through its built-in control panel, an included remote, or from an iOS or Android device through the Nebula Connect app. It can project images and video from external sources (stored on a USB thumb drive, or from internal memory), play music files, and even function as a Bluetooth speaker when paired with your smartphone or other mobile device. The Anker Nebula Apollo is among the smallest models in the company’s Nebula line of entertainment projectors, but it packs a lot of multimedia capability into its modest body. + Image qulity easly good enough for casual movie and video watching + Built-in Android TV 10 for streaming via WiFi + Surprisingly bright rated at 800 ANSI lumens Overall, the EpiqVision Mini EF12 has a polished feel, and it's impressive enough to earn an Editors' Choice nod for streaming projectors. Color accuracy is excellent and the stereo speakers are impressive for the size. But the EF12 offers integrated Android TV instead of a bundled dongle, adds support for 4K UHD (3,820-by-2,160) input for downconverting, and adds HDR support for both HDR10 and HLG. Both are smaller than typical for laser projectors, both are designed for streaming, and neither supports 3D. It has a higher resolution, at 1080p (1920-by-1080), and lower brightness, at 1,000 lumens. The Epson EpiqVision Mini EF12 Smart Streaming Laser Projector is a more refined version of the Epson EF-100.
